Electrophysiology Technician Job in Tacoma, WA

St Joseph Medical Center in Tacoma, WA is seeking an Electrophysiology Technician to join its EP Lab team. This is a 91-day travel assignment running 4x10-hour day shifts (6:00 AM to 4:30 PM) with no on-call requirements, earning $3,055.97 weekly.

Role Responsibilities

• Perform circulating and assisting roles in 3 electrophysiology suites
• Support 15–22 total cases daily across combined Cath Lab and EP units, including add-on cases
• Assist with ablations, AFib, AFlutter, and advanced EP lab procedures
• Work with St. Jude and Webster EP equipment
• Collaborate as a team player in a one-team approach environment
• Support sedation and Phase 1 recovery protocols
• Document procedures in EPIC charting system

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of combined Cath Lab and EP experience
• Experience with sedation and Phase 1 recovery required
• ICU or PACU experience preferred
• Current BLS, RCIS, and RCES certifications required
• EPIC experience preferred

What to Expect

You will not be required to scrub in. Core staff handles the majority of documentation. The facility is closed on holidays. Additional cases may require you to stay until the end of the day; however, call is voluntary basis only for emergencies or weekend cases. Scrubs are provided.
