ED RN Job in Wichita, KS

Join Wesley Medical Center in Wichita, KS as a Registered Nurse in the Emergency Department. This 91-day travel assignment runs from July 28, 2026, and offers 3x12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM at $1,708.20 per week.

Role Overview

You will deliver emergency care in a fast-paced environment, managing a patient ratio of 3:1 on average, with lower acuity assignments at 5:1 and a team nursing approach for pediatric patients. Your responsibilities include IV starts, medication administration, sedation support, and pediatric procedures. You will work with Alaris equipment and the Meditech EMR system, scanning patients and medications at each step per unit protocol.

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of acute care hospital emergency department RN experience
• Current BLS, ACLS, NIH, PALS, and TNCC certifications
• Experience at large facilities (52+ beds) preferred
• History of travel assignments or large facility experience required

Preferred Qualifications

• ENPC certification
• Meditech system experience
