CT Technologist Job in Aventura, FL

HCA Florida Aventura Hospital is seeking a CT Technologist for a travel assignment. You will perform CT scans, MRI imaging, body scans, and X-rays while creating detailed images of bones, organs, and tissues. Your assessments will be combined to produce accurate diagnostic pictures for radiologists and physicians.

In this role, you will:

• Operate all GE equipment including MRI units, scanners, cameras, X-ray, and fluoroscopy machines
• Manage patient ratios of 1:1 or 1:2 depending on patient stability
• Use the Meditech EMR system to document and track imaging studies
• Collaborate with radiologists, radiologist technicians, ultrasound technicians, MRI technicians, and fellow CT technicians
• Communicate effectively with physicians and patients while demonstrating strong anatomical and medical knowledge
• Multi-task efficiently in a fast-paced imaging environment

Assignment Details:

• Location: Aventura, FL
• Shift: 5x8 Evenings (3:00 PM – 11:00 PM), every other weekend
• Duration: 91 days
• Start date: June 29, 2026
• Weekly pay: $2,482

Requirements:

• Current ARRT (CT) certification
• Current BLS certification
• Allied Health Professional degree
• Mechanical aptitude and ability to work with diverse patient populations
• Scrub color requirement: Navy Blue

Preferred Qualifications:

• RT (T) certification
• ASRT or FASRT membership
• Experience with GE equipment
• Experience with Meditech EMR system
