Interventional Radiology Technologist Job in Aventura, FL

You will work as an Interventional Radiology Technologist at HCA Florida Aventura Hospital, supporting a fast-paced IR department that performs specialized vascular and neurointerventional procedures. This is a backfill travel position offering four 10-hour shifts per week at a predictable day schedule.

Your Role

You will assist physicians during interventional radiology procedures, managing equipment, supplies, and patient positioning. Your responsibilities include preparing IR suites, maintaining sterile technique, operating imaging equipment, and ensuring proper documentation in Meditech. You will work with a 1:1 patient ratio and maintain the highest standards of patient care and safety.

Key Requirements

• Current certification as a Radiologic Technologist (ARRT or equivalent state certification)
• Minimum one year of experience in Interventional Radiology
• Neurointerventional experience required
• Proficiency with IR equipment and supplies
• Ability to work on-call shifts beyond regular hours

Schedule & On-Call Duties

Regular shifts run 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM, Monday through Thursday. You will be required to take on-call shifts from 5:30 PM to 7:00 AM the following morning on weekdays, and 24-hour call shifts on weekends. A minimum of 10 call shifts per month is expected, depending on departmental staffing needs.

Compensation & Benefits

You will earn $2,641 per week. Surgical scrubs are provided by the facility. This 91-day assignment begins August 24, 2026.
