Physical Therapist Assistant Job in Lamar, CO

Prowers Medical Center is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant for a day shift position. You will work Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM as part of a clinical team delivering physical therapy services under the direction and supervision of a licensed physical therapist.

In this role, you will implement selected components of patient and client interventions, obtain data related to treatments provided, and make modifications to ensure patient progress, safety, and comfort. You will treat individuals of all ages with medical problems or health-related conditions that limit mobility and functional activities, working across inpatient, outpatient, and home health settings.

Position Requirements:

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
• Current credentials from the Colorado Department of Regulatory Agencies, Division of Professions and Occupations, State Physical Therapy Board
• Current BLS certification
• Minimum of 2 years of experience; outpatient experience preferred
• Inpatient experience required
• Strong communication skills and ability to work with diverse patients and staff
• Ability to operate required equipment and perform technical procedures
• Bilingual capabilities helpful
