Telemetry RN Job in Des Moines, IA

You'll work as an RN on our Telemetry unit at MercyOne Des Moines Medical Center, providing direct patient care across medical-surgical and telemetry floors. This is a 90-day travel assignment beginning May 18, 2026.

Shift Details

• 3 twelve-hour night shifts per week, 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• Every other weekend schedule required

Your Responsibilities

• Deliver nursing care to medical-surgical and telemetry patients
• Monitor patient telemetry continuously and respond appropriately to cardiac rhythm changes
• Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure comprehensive patient care
• Float to all medical-surgical floors as needed, including Ortho, Med-Surg, Neurology Step Down, Oncology, Surgical Telemetry, and Med-Surg Tele units
• Travel to West Lakes Campus location when assigned (9.5 miles from downtown)

Compensation and Terms

• Weekly pay: $2,213.64
• 90-day assignment
• Start date: May 18, 2026

You'll need an active RN license and the willingness to adapt to floating assignments across multiple specialized units. Your flexibility and clinical skills in telemetry monitoring and medical-surgical nursing will be essential to supporting patient care across our facility.
