Operating Room RN Job in Los Banos, CA

Sutter Health Memorial Hospital Los Banos is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Operating Room on a 91-day travel assignment. You will work 4x10 shifts during the day and earn $2,946.24 weekly. Your start date is July 21, 2026.

Role Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of operating room experience required
• Valid California RN license
• Current certifications: ACLS, BLS, and PALS (AHA or ARC only)
• Charge experience preferred
• Community hospital experience preferred

Clinical Responsibilities

You will care for adolescents, adults, and pediatric patients across multiple surgical specialties. Your proficiency must include general OR, laparoscopic surgery, arthroscopic surgeries, gynecology surgery, orthopedic surgeries, pediatric general surgery, urology surgery, podiatry surgery, and endoscopic surgery. You will operate electrosurgical units, fiber optic light sources, and the Hana Table. Patient ratios are 2 on days, 1 on nights, and 2 on weekends.

Schedule and Expectations

• Every other weekend requirement with 8 weekend shifts per contract
• On-call requirement of 12–14 days per month
• Maximum 7 days of requested time off per contract
• Only 1 holiday per contract may be requested off

Compliance and Skills

You must adhere to infection control, fire safety, radiation safety, and universal protocol procedures. Charting system experience is required. You will maintain high standards in a community hospital setting and contribute to a collaborative surgical team.
