Pediatric Respiratory Therapist Job in Indianapolis, IN

ADEX Healthcare Staffing is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist for a 91-day travel assignment at IU Health Riley Hospital for Children in Indianapolis, IN. You will work 3x12 hour night shifts with every other weekend requirement.

Your Role

You will provide respiratory care for neonates, infants, and pediatric patients across multiple units. Your primary placement will be in L&D, with home unit assignment to NICU, PICU, or Pediatrics Acute Care based on facility need. You will float to nearby affiliate hospitals as required.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage specialized respiratory equipment including CPAP, mechanical ventilation, nitric oxide delivery, and aerosol systems
• Perform arterial blood gas interpretation and analysis
• Provide tracheostomy care and ventilator weaning support
• Work with neonatal and pediatric patients requiring respiratory support
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams

Requirements

• Current RRT certification from NBRC
• ACLS, BLS, and NRP certifications (NRP required for L&D placement)
• PALS certification preferred
• Indiana State License
• Minimum 2 years NICU and PICU experience
• Labor & Delivery experience required
• Children's hospital experience within the last 3 years
• Education accredited by CoARC and regionally accredited by CHEA
• Willingness to work 2 out of 3 major holidays

Compensation & Duration

Weekly pay: $2,358.72. Assignment begins May 18, 2026 for 91 days. First-time travelers are welcome to apply.
