RN - Endoscopy

Job Details:

• 4x9 shift schedule, 9-hour shifts from 7:00 AM to 4:30 PM
• NOC call runs from 4:30 PM to 7:00 AM Monday through Thursday
• Weekend call for primary endoscopy RN runs from 4:30 PM Friday through 7:00 AM Monday
• Weekend call for secondary endoscopy RN runs Friday 4:30 PM to 7:30 PM and Saturday/Sunday 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM
• Unit is staffed with RNs only
• Minimum 1 year of endoscopy specialty experience required
• Must have Endoscopy Tech experience with ability to perform bedside procedures as well as circulating and sedating
• Travel experience required
• Epic experience required
• Performs procedures including EGD, Colonoscopy, EUS, ERCP, Bronchoscopy, EBUS, Super D, vocal cord injections, pleural tunnel catheter insertion, RFA, and banding of esophageal varices
• Patient population includes adults and geriatrics
• Approximately 7 patient visits per day across 2 rooms
• Skills required include administering, monitoring, and recovering conscious sedation
• Special equipment includes Aloka US machine, radial probe, Spyglass, Super D, RFA, and APC
• Interdisciplinary support available including IV Teams, Respiratory Services, Interpretation Services, Radiology, and Rapid Response Teams
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS
• Active Oregon State license or proof of Oregon license application and fingerprinting required
• One professional reference from a Charge Nurse, Supervisor, or Manager required
• Candidates may not reside within 50 miles of any facility location
