Echo Technologist

Opportunity:

Sonographer - Echo Sonographer

Job Details:

• Perform 7-8 scans per day
• Full cardiovascular skill set not required; solid Echo tech experience needed
• Minimum 2 years of previous experience required
• At least 1 travel contract completed required
• Epic EMR experience required
• May be asked to float within the same discipline across local campuses
• On-call schedule includes 1-2 nights of call per week and 1-2 weekends of call per month depending on staffing
• No weekend requirements
• Billable overtime hours: 36-40 hours per week with OT billable after 40 hours, or 48 hours per week with OT billable after 48 hours
• Required certifications: BLS (AHA or American Red Cross), RDCS, ARDMS, CCI, RVT
• Active Iowa license required at time of submission
• Skills checklist specific to Cardiovascular and Vascular Sonographer discipline required
• Work history must reflect 24 months of current Cardiovascular and Vascular Sonographer experience
• Professional reference from charge/supervisor/nurse manager/director/CNO/COO within 24 months preferred
• Driver's license required
• Summer holiday requirement: must work 1-2 of 3 holidays (Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day)
