Medical Technologist Job in Atlanta, GA

ADEX Healthcare Staffing is seeking a Medical Technologist for a 13-week night shift assignment at Northside Hospital Atlanta, a large hospital laboratory facility. You will work 5x8 hour shifts from 11:00 PM to 7:30 AM, earning $1,860.04 weekly.

Position Requirements:

• Current certification: ASCP, AMT, or AAB
• Minimum 2 years of recent experience as a Medical Laboratory Technologist or Medical Laboratory Scientist
• Proficiency with Cerner electronic health record system
• Hands-on experience with Sysmex and CellaVision laboratory analyzer systems
• Demonstrated competency performing accurate differential counts, particularly for neonatal specimens
• Ability to manage complex sample types including turbid specimens, platelet clumps, and abnormal cell morphology findings

What You'll Do:

You will perform laboratory testing and analysis in a fast-paced, high-volume environment. Your work will include processing specimens, operating diagnostic equipment, and delivering results with accuracy and efficiency. You must be able to transition quickly with minimal onboarding support and work independently within established protocols.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous experience in large hospital laboratories (600+ beds)
• Ability to work independently in a demanding laboratory setting
