RN - Med Surg Tele

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour night shifts on Neuro/Ortho Unit
• Guaranteed 36 hours per week working three 12-hour shifts
• Patient ratio of 1:6
• Weekend requirement: 2 shifts every other weekend (Friday/Saturday or Saturday/Sunday for night shift)
• Required certifications: BCLS and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS)
• 2+ years of experience preferred, first-time travelers accepted
• May float to any unit except ICU, SDU, and ED to meet facility needs
• Navy scrubs required
• EPIC charting system
• 38 hours of orientation provided
• Care for adult patients with orthopedic, neurology, med/surg, and stroke diagnoses
• Perform skills including CVA care, isolation precautions, PCA management, PICC line management, IV starts and maintenance, telemetry monitoring, and total joint replacement care
• Maximum 7 days RTO allowed within 13-week contract
• No RTO allowed during first week of assignment
• Daily census of 21 patients
