Pharmacist Job in Independence, Missouri

Join Centerpoint Medical Center in Independence, Missouri, as a Travel Pharmacist. This 26-week assignment offers stable day shifts in a decentralized pharmacy model where you'll take on meaningful clinical and operational responsibilities.

Role and Responsibilities

• Work 40 hours per week on a 5x8 day schedule (7:30 AM to 4:00 PM)
• Cover every other weekend with no overnight or on-call shifts
• Refill Pyxis machines and dispense first doses
• Perform IV sterile compounding and non-sterile compounding
• Package unit-dose medications and maintain code blue trays
• Answer pharmacy phones and provide support to the pharmacist team
• Operate Pyxis ES and Dose Edge equipment
• Document all activities in Meditech

What We're Looking For

• Current, active Missouri pharmacist license in good standing
• Familiarity with Pyxis ES, Meditech, and Dose Edge systems preferred
• Professional approach to patient care and team collaboration
