Physical Therapist Job in Roswell, NM

Eastern New Mexico Medical Center is seeking a Physical Therapist for a 13-week travel assignment beginning May 18, 2026. You will work day shifts from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday through Friday, with occasional weekend coverage as needed based on hospital requirements.

In this role, you will serve as the primary physical therapist provider in the inpatient setting, delivering hybrid coverage of acute and ambulatory rehabilitation services. You will treat patients across all age groups, from pediatrics to geriatrics, and are expected to float between departments as needed. Your work will require independent decision-making and a solid understanding of CMS skilled criteria and medical necessity guidelines.

Required Qualifications:

• Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree
• Current New Mexico PT license (may be pending at time of application)
• Minimum 1+ years of clinical experience outside of student clinicals
• Acute and orthopedic experience
• Proficiency with Meditech and Cerner EMR documentation systems
• Ability to work independently and adapt to floating assignments

• Weekly pay: $2,640
• Assignment duration: 13 weeks
• Green scrubs required
• No call responsibilities
• Fingerprinting required for all New Mexico travelers
