Nuclear Medicine Technologist Job in Rome, NY

Rome Health is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist for a travel assignment in Rome, New York. This is a full-time position running Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, with no holiday, on-call, or weekend obligations.

Position Details

• Assignment duration: 89 days
• Start date: November 16, 2026
• Weekly pay: $3,258.72
• Shift: 5x8 days per week

Your Responsibilities

You will perform nuclear medicine imaging procedures, prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals, operate imaging equipment, and ensure patient safety and comfort. Your work will support diagnostic imaging and treatment planning across the facility's patient population.

Required Qualifications

• CNMT Certification by the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB), or ARRT certification in Nuclear Medicine (accepted individually or in combination with CNMT)
• New York State Department of Health (NYSDOH) license to practice nuclear medicine
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Allied Health Professional degree
• Compliance with Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) regulations
• NIH Stroke Certification may be required
