Electrophysiology Technician Job in Sarasota, FL

You will work as an Electrophysiology Technician at Sarasota Memorial Hospital, an 8-suite electrophysiology unit with 4 dedicated cath lab and 4 EP suites. This is a 91-day travel assignment starting July 6, 2026, on a 3x12 day shift schedule at $3,022.20 per week.

Your Responsibilities

• Run STIM protocols and perform calculations and electrogram measurements independently
• Perform complete EP studies without assistance
• Set up CARTO, ESI, and CRYO systems
• Scrub all procedures in the EP lab, including implant, device, and complex ablation cases
• Circulate and scrub as applicable to patient needs
• Float between the main EP lab and cath lab suites
• Float between main campus and Sarasota Venice Hospital with full shifts and ample notice
• Work weekends, call, holidays, and emergency call as required

Qualifications Required

• Minimum 5 years of electrophysiology experience
• Prior travel healthcare experience
• Demonstrated expertise with complex ablation procedures, atrial fibrillation, ventricular tachycardia, supraventricular tachycardia, and CRT implants
• Current Florida licensure or registration through CCI
• BLS certification
• ACLS certification
• RCIS and/or RCES certification, or ARRT CV (radiologic technology)
• CVT credential requires AS degree or higher

What to Expect

You will receive 3 days of floor orientation before working independently. No block scheduling is available. This position is for backfill and requires an ASAP start. You will work in a fast-paced environment with multiple suite cases and must be comfortable floating between departments with full notice provided.
