Job Details:

• Work five 8-hour shifts with rotating call responsibilities
• Rotating call schedule between 2 RNs (Mon, Tues, Friday-Sunday one week; Wednesday and Thursday the following week)
• Call coverage limited to general surgery and emergency c-sections only
• Must have circulating experience in operating room
• Patient ratio of 1:1 during day shifts
• Weekend coverage required with call responsibilities
• 40 hours of orientation provided
• Work with patient age groups including adolescents, adults, and pediatrics
• Daily census of 4 patients across 4 operating rooms
• Must report to Shannon Medical Center in San Angelo for first day, then resume contract at Big Spring location
• 2 years of experience required with prior travel experience mandatory
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS
• Must be proficient with Epic charting system
• Trauma Level II experience preferred
• Extensive skills required including appendectomy, c-sections, cholecystectomy, laparoscopic procedures, Da Vinci Xi Surgical System operation, and various surgical specialties
• Must be available to complete lab requirements within 72 hours of accepting offer
• Hard document deadline: Noon CST Wednesday prior to start date
