About this role

You will provide specialized nursing care in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit at OU Health in Oklahoma City. This is a full-time travel position running 89 days, with a start date of June 8, 2026. You'll work three 12-hour night shifts per week, earning $2,930.40 weekly.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Monitor critically ill pediatric patients requiring intensive medical intervention and respond to changes in their condition
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams—physicians, respiratory therapists, social workers, and other specialists—to deliver comprehensive patient care
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians, following strict protocols and safety standards
  • Maintain accurate patient documentation and medical records to support continuity of care
  • Respond to emergency situations and provide life-saving interventions when needed
  • Support families during stressful and critical care situations, offering compassionate communication and reassurance
  • Utilize advanced pediatric monitoring equipment and technology to assess patient status and relay information to the care team

You must hold a current RN license valid in Oklahoma. Experience in pediatric or critical care nursing is expected. You'll work nights, which suits those seeking schedule flexibility and the additional compensation that night shifts often provide.

OU Health is a large academic medical center with resources and mentorship opportunities. You'll be part of a stable team providing care to the region's most critically ill children. Housing assistance and other travel benefits are typically available through ADEX Healthcare Staffing to support your assignment.

If you are an RN interested in pediatric critical care and ready to commit to an 89-day travel assignment in Oklahoma City, please submit your application with your current license and references.
