<p><strong>RN Position Job Notes:</strong></p> <p>Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.</p> <p><strong>Opportunity:</strong></p><p>RN - Med Surg</p><p><strong>Job Details:</strong></p><p>• Work 12-hour night shifts starting at 5:30 PM<br>• Every weekend schedule required (Friday/Saturday/Sunday)<br>• 36 guaranteed hours per week<br>• 13-week contract length<br>• Patient ratio of 1:5-1:6 during night shifts<br>• Float throughout facility within skillset and to all affiliated facilities within 60-mile radius<br>• Holiday rotation required<br>• No on-call or callback requirements<br>• 8-hour unbillable orientation required<br>• Previous travel experience required<br>• Minimum 3 years RN experience required<br>• Minimum 2 years Med/Surg experience and 1 travel assignment required<br>• EPIC charting experience within the last 2 years required<br>• Must have neuro/ortho trauma experience<br>• Required certifications: Wisconsin RN License, AHA BLS, and NIHSS<br>• Must be comfortable with chest tubes, PCA/epidural/Q-ball, CBI, post-op neuro trauma surgeries, and post-op ortho trauma surgeries<br>• Black scrubs required<br>• Care for trauma surgical, neuro, and ortho patients<br>• Associate degree or certificate required, bachelor&#39;s degree preferred</p><p><strong>Facility:</strong></p><p>This healthcare organization operates a comprehensive medical center with a specialized 6th floor Medical/Surgical unit focusing on trauma surgical, neurology, and orthopedic care.
