RN - IR

Job Details:

• 8-hour variable day shifts with shift times varying between 7:00 AM, 7:30 AM, 7:45 AM, 8:00 AM, and 8:30 AM
• 72 hours guaranteed bi-weekly
• 13-week contract
• Position does not require floating - all work is in IR at the La Crosse hospital campus
• On-call requirement of one night per week with a 30-minute response time
• Weekend call required every 4-6 weekends as needed
• Potential for holiday call coverage
• Minimum 3 years of RN experience in IR, Cath Lab, Critical Care, ER, or Recovery required
• Wisconsin RN license required
• Required certifications: AHA BLS and AHA ACLS
• Epic charting experience strongly preferred
• Strong IV skills required
• Sedation experience required
• Must be familiar with neurointervention including stroke thrombectomy and embolization
• Work in a procedural unit including 2 fluoroscopy suites, 2 procedure suites, 1 biplane lab, 1 hybrid lab, and CT
• See a wide variety of inpatients and outpatients ranging from clinic patients to critical care patients, covering elective to emergent procedures
• Work as part of a procedural team consisting of a provider, RN, and 1-2 techs, with anesthesia involvement in some procedures
• Associate degree or certificate required; bachelor's degree preferred
