Pediatrics Operating Room RN Job in Joplin, MO

Join Mercy Hospital Joplin as a Registered Nurse in our Pediatrics Operating Room. This is a 91-day travel assignment offering the opportunity to work in a specialty surgical environment dedicated to pediatric patients.

• Schedule: 3x12-hour day shifts, 36 hours guaranteed per week
• Pay: $1,930 weekly
• Duration: 91 days, starting November 2, 2026
• Location: Joplin, MO

Position Requirements:

• Current RN license with ADN or BSN
• 1+ years of experience in Pediatric Department Primary Care
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, NRP, PEARS, and CPEN (preferred)
• Ability to read and communicate effectively in English
• Basic computer and office equipment proficiency

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care in the pediatric OR setting
• Maintain a safe patient environment in accordance with AWOHHN, ACOG, and AAP guidelines
• Assist with annual unit duties and mentor new staff members
• Coordinate daily staffing assignments and provide call coverage as needed
• Communicate effectively with interdisciplinary healthcare teams
• Participate in team problem-solving and support unit initiatives
• Perform all duties consistent with facility service standards
