Cardiac Cath Lab RN Job in Atlanta, GA

You will work as a Registered Nurse in the Cardiac Catheterization Lab at Piedmont Atlanta Hospital in Atlanta, Georgia. This is a travel assignment with a duration of 84 days, starting June 15, 2026. You will work 4x10 hour shifts on day schedule and earn $2,563.20 per week.

Role and Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization procedures
• Monitor left and right heart catheterization and pulmonary artery lines
• Interpret dysrhythmias and respond appropriately
• Assist with procedural sedation
• Perform scrub procedures as needed
• Float within facility and scope of practice as required

Requirements and Experience

• Minimum 2 years of cardiac catheterization experience required
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications
• Epic charting system experience
• Clinical screening to determine fit for the unit

Schedule and Call Requirements

• Call includes 5 weekdays and 1 weekend every 6 weeks
• Weekend coverage included in call requirements
• Holiday work required: 1 major holiday if 1 falls during assignment; both if 2 fall; 2 of 3 if 3 fall (includes Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving/Black Friday, Christmas Eve/Christmas Day, New Years Eve/New Years Day)
• Maximum 7 days RTO per contract, finalized at submission

Patient Population

You will care for adult and geriatric patients undergoing cardiac procedures.

Pre-Arrival Requirements

• Full compliance required to start on time; 2-week delay if not compliant due to bi-weekly orientation schedule
• Core items and labs must be completed within 48 hours of contract signing
• All compliance documents due Tuesday prior to your start date

Non-billable orientation hours will be determined by contract length.
