Respiratory Therapist Job in Florence, SC

McLeod Regional Medical Center in Florence, SC is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist for a 90-day travel assignment. You will work three 12-hour day shifts per week on an every-other-weekend schedule with no on-call requirements.

What You'll Do

• Manage an average of 8 ventilated patients per shift in unit assignments
• Cover 3–4 floors during floor assignments
• Conduct 2–3 intrahospital transports per shift, including CT, MRI, and specialty procedures
• Perform direct patient care and deliver respiratory care procedures throughout the facility
• Respond to Code Blue and Rapid Response alerts
• Exercise clinical judgment and assessment skills to monitor patients and communicate with the care team
• Evaluate patient care and make recommendations as appropriate
• Document and maintain records, charts, and reports in a timely manner

Equipment You'll Use

• Servo i ventilator
• V60 BiPAP
• iStat for ABG analysis

Requirements

• RRT certification
• BLS certification
• ACLS certification

Assignment Details

• Duration: 90 days
• Start date: November 15, 2026
• Schedule: 3x12 days, every other weekend
• Weekly pay: $2,173
