Physical Therapist Assistant Job in Town & Country, MO

ADEX Healthcare Staffing is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant for a long-term care position at Vertical Health Services - Athene Nursing and Rehabilitation in Town & Country, MO. This is a 91-day assignment beginning May 18, 2026.

Position Details:

• Schedule: 5x8 days, no weekends required, no on-call responsibilities
• Weekly pay: $1,785.60
• Facility type: Long-term care and rehabilitation

Your Responsibilities:

• Implement components of patient care and obtain data related to treatments provided
• Assist the Physical Therapist in treatment of individuals of all ages, from newborns to end-of-life patients
• Help patients stretch and exercise specific muscle groups
• Teach patients techniques such as balance training
• Transfer patients from wheelchairs or walkers to the physical therapy area
• Communicate with families to determine best at-home techniques
• Collaborate with the Physical Therapist to modify care as necessary
• Read and follow instructions from the Physical Therapist
• Maintain a clean and organized physical therapy environment
• Complete administrative tasks including scheduling appointments and filing paperwork

Required Qualifications:

• Valid Missouri PTA license
• Minimum 1 year of PTA experience
• Long-term care or rehabilitation experience required
