Med Surg RN Job in Memphis, MO

You will work as a Registered Nurse on the Medical Surgical unit at Scotland County Hospital in Memphis, Missouri. This is a 13-week travel assignment beginning June 29, 2026.

Schedule & Pay

• 3 twelve-hour night shifts per week, 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• Every 3rd weekend required
• Weekly pay: $2,203.20

Your Role

You will care for observation, acute, and skilled/swing bed patients across all age groups—infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics. Patient ratios on nights are 1:3–5, with a daily census of approximately 9 patients. You may float to different units as needed. The unit provides 12 hours of orientation to help you transition into the role.

Requirements

• Current Missouri nursing license or active compact license
• ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications
• Minimum 3 years of nursing experience
• Step-down level experience preferred
• Medical Surgical basic skills

Unit Details

You will use the Meditech electronic medical record system. Interdisciplinary support is available through Physical Therapy, Respiratory Services, Phlebotomy, Radiology, and Pharmacy. Any scrub color is acceptable.
