CT Technologist Job in Pittsfield, MA

Berkshire Medical Center seeks an Allied Health Professional to work as a CT Technologist on 5x8 evening shifts. This 91-day assignment begins August 24, 2026, and offers $3,249 weekly.

Role Overview

You will perform diagnostic radiology and CT scan procedures independently, demonstrating critical thinking and technical judgment in a high-stress environment. Primary responsibilities include operating CT equipment, performing IV insertion and injections, and managing imaging applications across multiple systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform primary diagnostic radiology and CT scan tasks with proper technique and patient safety
• Operate and troubleshoot CR, DR, CT, and PACS applications
• Demonstrate proficiency with PACS, HIS, and RIS computer systems
• Function independently while maintaining ability to supervise or instruct department personnel as assigned
• Maintain patient confidentiality and follow infection control and OSHA compliance standards
• Communicate effectively in written, verbal, and Tiger Text formats

Requirements

• Current ARRT (CT) and BLS (AHA) certifications
• Minimum 2 years current CT experience required
• Massachusetts Radiology license (must be uploaded with profile)
• CT Skills Checklist current within 1 year
• X-ray experience required
• Ability to work 8-hour shifts; 10 or 12-hour shift requests will not be considered
• Weekend and holiday shifts required as needed; on-call possible
• Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle required for this assignment
• One supervisory signed reference from employment within the past two years

Preferred Qualifications

Meditech Expanse experience is highly preferred. All requested time off must be noted and verified at profile upload; maximum of 5 days of RTO will be accepted.
