Radiation Therapist Job in Gilbert, AZ

ADEX Healthcare Staffing is seeking a Radiation Therapist for a travel assignment at Banner Gateway Medical Center in Gilbert, Arizona. This is a full-time position working days on a 5x8 schedule for an 89-week duration, starting September 21, 2026.

About the Role

You will deliver prescribed radiation therapy treatments according to department protocols and professional standards. Your responsibilities include verifying referring provider orders, operating treatment planning and simulation equipment, and administering prescribed doses with accurate documentation. You will educate patients and families about procedures and treatments, perform quality control measurements on equipment, and troubleshoot as needed.

You will adhere to radiation safety practices for receipt, storage, and disposal of radioactive materials using ALARA principles. You maintain confidentiality and uphold ethical, legal, and professional standards in radiation oncology practice. At select facilities, you may direct students and support staff activities.

Requirements

• Associate degree in radiation oncology or related field
• National certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
• Arizona State licensure
• BLS certification
• Previous radiation therapy experience preferred
