PACU RN Job in Glens Falls, NY

Join Glens Falls Hospital as a Registered Nurse in the Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU). This 91-day travel assignment runs three 12-hour day shifts per week, beginning November 12, 2026. You will earn $2,362 weekly.

In this role, you will manage and deliver direct patient care to assigned patients in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team, operating within the scope of the New York State Nurse Practice Act. You will delegate and assign responsibilities as appropriate, and serve as a leader of the interdisciplinary team under the direction of the attending physician.

Core Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in the PACU setting
• Manage AM admissions, blocks, and recovery procedures
• Deliver procedural sedation care
• Document and communicate patient status using EPIC
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team members

Requirements

• Current New York nursing license
• Minimum 2+ years of PACU experience
• Experience with AM admissions, blocks, and recovery
• Procedural sedation experience
• EPIC experience
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS
• Skills checklist current to within 1 year
• 1 supervisory reference from within the past two years of employment
• Ability to work holidays as needed
• Own vehicle (firm requirement)
• Permanent address on file matching Driver License or State ID

Schedule Details

Weekend shifts are part of your schedule. There are no on-call responsibilities. Previous travel healthcare experience is highly preferred.
