OB Technician

Opportunity:

OB Tech - L&D Tech

Job Details:

• Work 3 twelve-hour shifts per week, rotating between 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM and 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• Required to work 2 Fridays and 4 Saturdays/Sundays per month
• On-call required during weekdays; no weekend call required
• Every other holiday required
• No floating requirements
• Must have experience completing both complicated and uncomplicated C-sections
• Scrub experience required
• Common cases include C-sections, D&C, cerclage placement, and C-hysterectomy
• Average of 3 scheduled cases per day, with additional unscheduled urgent and non-urgent C-sections
• 2 operating suites
• Will be required to assist with stocking of patient rooms when not in the OR, as well as some processing of surgical instrumentation
• Certification through NBSTSA or NCCT preferred but not required
• Required certification: BLS (AHA)
• Charting system: EPIC
• Hospital-issued scrubs required
• Cancellation policy: 2 shifts per 13-week contract
• Acute care setting
