Endoscopy RN Job in Wheeling, WV

Join WVU Wheeling Hospital as an RN in our Endoscopy department. You will serve as the intra-operative circulation nurse, working in a 1 RN per room ratio across 5 suites. This role does not involve sedation administration.

Schedule & Commitment

• Work 3x12 rotating shifts
• Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM (8 or 10 hour varied shifts)
• Weekends scheduled as needed with one weekend per month on-call (Saturday and Sunday, 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM)
• Holiday on-call required, 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM
• On-call 3 days per month with 30-minute response time to finish cases
• No self-scheduling or block scheduling available
• Cancellation policy: 2 shifts per 13-week contract

Responsibilities

• Perform and assist with common endoscopy cases including EGD, colonoscopy, ERCP, EUS, EMR, and hemorrhoid banding
• Work alongside surgical techs in the department
• Chart using Epic (prior Epic knowledge is a plus)

Requirements

• Active RN license
• BLS certification (AHA)
• Knowledge of endoscopy procedures and equipment
• Active driver's license at time of submission
• BSN not required
• Must be able to work within a 50-mile radius
