Job Details:

• 13-week contract
• 4x12 night shifts with every other weekend coverage
• 75-mile radius rule applies
• 2+ years of experience required
• Travel experience preferred
• Community hospital experience preferred
• CT Registry preferred; previous experience with Canon/Toshiba CT equipment preferred
• Cerner EMR experience required
• IV starts required
• Required certifications: ARRT CT, ARRT R, BLS, and West Virginia license required prior to start
• Perform CT imaging including head, chest, abdomen, pelvis, lumbar, thoracic, sinuses, soft tissue neck, and musculoskeletal trauma studies
• Perform advanced imaging including brain perfusion, carotid, heart studies (calcium scoring, coronary angiography), vascular chest studies (pulmonary embolism, CTA, aorta), and enterography studies
• Perform 3D rendering techniques including maximum intensity projection, surface shaded displays, and volume rendering
• Perform multiplanar reconstruction (MPR)
• Prepare and administer contrast media
• Start peripheral IVs and perform venipuncture
• Utilize PACS system
• Maintain radiation safety protocols and isolation precautions/PPE
• Work with patient age groups including infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
• Night shift patient ratio of 1:1; weekend patient ratio of 1:1
