Physical Therapist Job in Rockville, MD

You will work as a Physical Therapist in an inpatient rehabilitation setting at AHC Rockville Rehab. This is a travel position with a 91-day assignment starting July 6, 2026.

Schedule and Compensation

• Tuesday through Saturday, 5 days per week, 8-hour day shifts
• Weekly pay: $2,160
• Patient ratios: 1:5 on weekdays, 1:3 on weekends
• One weekend shift required quarterly with a corresponding weekday off
• Block scheduling accommodation available
• No floating between units
• No on-call responsibilities

Your Role

You will provide comprehensive physical therapy services to a diverse inpatient rehabilitation population. Your responsibilities include gait training, strength testing, and discharge planning. You will work without floating between units and without on-call duties.

Requirements

• Valid state PT license required at time of application submission
• Minimum 1 year of experience required
• Rehabilitation hospital experience required
• First-time travelers accepted with 2 years of PT experience
• BLS certification required
• Must pass nicotine drug screening—no tobacco use of any kind permitted
• 2 supervisor references required

Onboarding and Compliance

• 24 hours of orientation provided
• Complete non-billable modules during orientation and annually through Relias/Net Learning portal
