Job Details:

• 8-hour evening shifts from 2:00 PM to 10:30 PM
• Block schedule Monday through Friday
• 13-week assignment
• Position will float to all Gainesville MRI locations on campus, including Ortho Center (OSMI), Oaks, Fixel Institute (DMN), and East/North Tower
• Perform diagnostic and treatment MRI procedures and work collaboratively to complete all ordered MRI exams
• Technicians are responsible for starting IVs
• Work alongside a minimum of 2 other technicians at all times
• 2-week training period on day shift at the start of assignment
• High-volume environment averaging 5,000 MRIs per month
• Overtime available
• Must be able to handle both outpatient and inpatient cases, including critically ill patients in a hospital setting
• Experience with perfusion exams and abdominal work required
• Pediatric and anesthesia experience required
• Will not perform cardiac or breast MRI exams
• Must be proficient with Siemens equipment - do not apply without this experience
• Experience required with Siemens XA and B platforms: Avanto, Verio, Prisma, Aera, and Sola
• Minimum 2 years of experience required
• No permeable shoes allowed
• No RTO allowed during the first 2 weeks of assignment; maximum of 8 days RTO allowed for a 13-week contract
• Work history must not include gaps greater than 30 days without explanation
• Required certifications: ARRT (MR) or ARMRIT, BLS
