CT Technologist Job in Laredo, TX

Laredo Medical Center is seeking a CT Technologist for a 91-day travel assignment. You will work the night shift (7:00 PM to 7:00 AM) on a 3x12 schedule, with the possibility of block scheduling. This is a floating position between departments with on-call responsibilities.

Role Responsibilities:

• Perform routine diagnostic CT scanning procedures, including CT of head, brain, neck, thorax, spine, abdomen, pelvis, and extremities
• Conduct biopsy and drainage procedures under radiologist direction
• Handle basic radiographic procedures, fluoroscopy, portable radiographic procedures, and C-arm procedures
• Provide OR imaging services as needed
• Manage studies with or without contrast media
• Work with the Cerner EMR system
• Deliver timely diagnostic services to inpatients and outpatients

Required Qualifications:

• Allied Health Professional credential
• Minimum 2 years of experience as a CT Technologist
• ARRT certification in CT (registered)
• MRT/TMB license
• Current BLS certification
• Knowledge of CT system processing, surgical and sterile procedures, and cross-sectional anatomy
• Location requirement: must be greater than 50 miles from the facility

• Weekly pay: $1,971
• Assignment duration: 91 days
