Adult Echo Technologist Job in Batesville, AR

White River Medical Center is seeking an Allied Health Professional Sonographer to join the Ultrasound department on a temporary basis. You will perform high-quality diagnostic cardiac and vascular exams according to physician orders, working with state-of-the-art equipment including Philips CVX Epiq and Philips Elite Epiq machines, as well as Vasculab ABI technology.

Your Responsibilities:

• Perform echocardiograms, including TTE and TEE studies, stress echo, and contrast-enhanced exams with Definity
• Complete vascular studies including venous reflux exams, venous and carotid dopplers, arterial doppler, ABI testing, and vein mapping
• Perform specialized procedures such as pericardiocentesis and thrombin injections
• Start your own IVs and manage contrast administration
• Complete studies in a timely and efficient manner, assisting colleagues during downtime
• Maintain clean work areas and follow all equipment cleaning protocols
• Participate in hospital and department in-services and meetings

Requirements:

• 2+ years of experience with echocardiography and vascular ultrasound
• ARDMS and BLS (AHA) certifications required
• MediTech EMR experience
• Ability to work scheduled on-call: one weekday night plus every Saturday 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
• Willingness to respond to call-backs within acceptable timeframe and arrive in department within 30 minutes

Assignment Details:

This is a 91-day temporary assignment beginning June 22, 2026. You will work 5×8 day shifts at $2,880 per week.
