Respiratory Therapist - Registered Respiratory Therapist

Job Details:

• Full-time schedule with weekend rotation required
• Weekend coverage required
• RRT with 2 years of experience preferred or CRT with 5 years of experience
• Adult Critical Care and Emergency Department experience required
• Will accept first-time travelers
• Trauma Level II experience preferred
• 5 years of experience required
• Charting system experience with Cerner
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, RRT
• Valid Maryland or Compact license required at time of submission
• Patient age groups: Adults and Geriatrics
• Interdisciplinary support includes Respiratory Services and Rapid Response Teams
• Required skills include: Adult Critical Care, BiPAP, CPAP, ARDS, Bronchoscopy, Chest Physiotherapy, Drawing Arterial Blood Gases, ET Tube management, Extubation, High Flow Nasal Cannula (HFNC), Inhaled Flolan, Interpretation of Arterial Blood Gases (ABGs), Intubation Assist, Nitric Oxide (INo), Pulmonary Hygiene, SIMV, Suctioning (ETT, NT), Tracheostomy care and management, Weaning from mechanical ventilation, and additional respiratory therapy procedures
