ED Registered Nurse Job in Anniston, AL

You'll work as a Registered Nurse in the Emergency Department at RMC Anniston, a high-acuity, high-volume facility with 32 rooms serving all age groups—neonates, infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics.

Assignment Details

• 8-week assignment beginning May 4, 2026
• 3 nights per week, 12-hour shifts
• Work every other weekend
• Weekly pay: $1,944

Role Expectations

• Nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:4
• Combined adult and pediatric emergency care
• 30-minute lunch required; skipped meals are not permitted
• Maximum 7 days of requested time off allowed
• Non-billable orientation modules averaging 8 hours

Required Experience & Credentials

• Minimum one year recent ER experience
• Alabama RN license
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications via AHA
• NIH Fit Test

Preferred Experience & Certifications

• Travel healthcare experience
• Level II Trauma experience
• CPI and TNCC certifications

Clinical Skills

• Blood product administration, central line care and management, IV starts
• Continuous IV sedation, IV vasopressors, procedural sedation administration
• Orthopedic and trauma nursing
• Pediatric-specific: identifying and reporting abuse, near drowning, respiratory infections, seizure management
