ICU Registered Nurse Job in Ontario, OH

ADEX Healthcare Staffing is seeking an experienced ICU Registered Nurse for a 91-day travel assignment at Avita Ontario Hospital in Ontario, Ohio. This part-time position offers 2x12 night shifts at $1,555.20 per week, starting May 11, 2026.

Position Details:

• Part-time with every other weekend requirement
• Willingness to float to other campus ICU units (Bucyrus & Galion) if census drops to maintain hours
• Typical staffing ratios are 3:1
• Must complete up to 8 hours of non-billable HealthStream modules before start date

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of recent, consecutive ICU experience in a hospital or acute care setting
• Travel experience required—no first-time travelers
• Valid state license (pending licenses not accepted)
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications
• Knowledge of medication scanning
• Two recent supervisory references required
• Epic experience preferred

Clinical Skills Expected:

• Management of dysrhythmias
• Arterial line and central line management
• Titration of cardiac and vasoactive drips
• BiPAP/CPAP management
• Care of ventilated patients and suctioning
• Isolation precautions and PPE protocols

Important Terms:

• Time off requests limited to no more than 7 days; no major holidays accepted
• Must make up all missed shifts and find coverage if scheduled during requested time off
• If placed on-call, must return to facility within 1 hour when called
• Smoke-free facility and campus
