Occupational Therapist Job in Pahala, HI

You will work as an Occupational Therapist in the Rehabilitation and Acute Rehab settings at Ka'u Hospital. This is a full-time travel position running 182 days, beginning November 23, 2026.

Schedule and Compensation

• Monday through Friday, 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM (5x8 days)
• Weekly pay: $2,493
• You must arrive Thursday before your start date for your Friday employee health appointment

Your Responsibilities

• Evaluate and re-evaluate assigned patients in both outpatient and inpatient settings
• Plan and implement ongoing therapeutic physical therapy programs as prescribed by ordering physicians
• Regularly update treatment plans and home exercise programs
• Independently manage a full caseload of adult patients
• Assess when to perform re-evaluations based on insurance authorization requirements
• Work Hawaii State and Federal Holidays as necessary based on hospital operations

Required Qualifications

• Active Hawaii state Occupational Therapist license at the start of your assignment
• Minimum 2 years of work experience in outpatient and acute settings working with adults
• BLS certification from American Red Cross

Systems and Tools

You will use EMR, Net Health Therapy, and Meditech systems to document and manage patient care.
