Radiology / Cardiology - Interventional Radiology

Job Details:

• Shifts are 8–10 hours, 5 days per week
• Every other weekend coverage required
• On-call up to 3 times per week; every other weekend with weekday call rotation
• Must reside and respond within 30 minutes for call
• Weekday call is 3 times per week on weeks not scheduled for weekend call, and 2 times per week on weeks scheduled for weekend call
• Average daily census of 6 patients
• Minimum 2 years of Cath Lab experience required; first-time travelers will not be considered
• Travel experience required
• Must be proficient in embolization, coiling, ablations, and implants including ports, pacemakers, and ICDs
• Must be experienced with Impella, IABP, IVUS, Shockwave, Rotoblator, laser, and thrombectomy devices
• Must be experienced in STEMI care with focus on FTB/DTB under 60 minutes
• Must be capable of performing peripheral and EP procedures
• Must be able to work independently and confidently in all CCL procedures
• Strong teamwork and patient-first mindset required
• Charting system: EPIC with Cupid documentation (experience required)
• Community hospital experience preferred
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, ARRT(R), CCI RCIS, and Louisiana state license (LSRTBE)
• Key skills required include: cardiac catheterization, angioplasty, cardiac ablation, electrophysiology, embolization, pacemaker insertion, rotablator atherectomy, thrombectomy, stent placement, IABP and Impella management, IVC filter placement and removal, and hemodynamic monitoring
