ED - Emergency Room

RN - ED

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• 13-week contract duration
• 1-2 years of recent emergency department experience required
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS
• Alabama nursing license required with no hits
• Cerner EMR experience preferred
• Must reside greater than 50 miles from the facility
• Provide shift accountability for emergency room patient care utilizing the Nursing Process in accordance with the state Nurse Practice Act and hospital policies and procedures
• Demonstrate critical thinking skills, scientific judgment, and leadership in planning for safe delivery of care in the Emergency Department
• Maintain clinical competencies through continuing education
• Delegate patient care priorities based on education and experience of available staff
• Provide direction and supervision of assigned personnel delivering patient care
