Opportunity:

RN - Med Surg

Job Details:

• Work 3x12 hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM with holiday rotation
• Every other weekend requirement
• Work on Complex Intervention Unit (2CIU) - 18-bed adult acute care unit with 6 acute care beds and 12 beds for patients with co-occurring medical and behavioral health conditions
• Patient ratios: 1:3 on med-surg side, 1:4 on behavioral health side
• Float within scope to meet facility needs
• Minimum 1 year of experience required with Med-Surg experience and Epic charting system
• South Carolina or Multi-State/Compact State RN License required
• BLS certification required
• Required to wear solid royal blue or white top with royal blue bottoms
• Use Epic charting system
• Facility may call off 1 shift per 2 weeks
• 12-hour orientation provided
• First-time travelers accepted
• Must be aware of hurricane season emergency response team assignments from June through November
• Skills include managing ports, blood product administration, chest tubes, feeding tubes, heparin, insulin, IV protocols, cardiac drips, telemetry monitoring, wound care, and substance withdrawal management
