Job Details:

• Schedule consists of four 10-hour shifts (7:30 AM – 6:00 PM) and one 8-hour shift (7:30 AM – 4:00 PM), plus on-call responsibilities
• Each clinician is expected to take 7 on-call shifts and 5 late shifts within every 6-week period
• One full weekend of call (Friday through Sunday) must be scheduled together, with remaining weekday call shifts (Monday through Thursday) taken individually throughout the cycle
• One Saturday shift for elective cases is required during each 6-week period
• Clinicians must be able to return to the hospital within 30 minutes when called
• Facility may call off 1 shift per 2 weeks
• Must be available to work or take call for one holiday per 13-week contract in rotation with staff
• Minimum 2 years of experience required
• Travel experience required; first-time travelers are not accepted
• Charting system: Epic (required)
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, ARRT(R) or CCI RCIS
• Skilled in cardiac cath lab procedures including LHC, RHC, PCI, PTCA, stent placement, atherectomy, temporary pacemaker, Impella, IABP, TAVR, Watchman, and Mitraclip
• Proficient in sterile technique, EKG lead placement, dysrhythmia recognition and interpretation, hemodynamic monitoring, and rapid response protocols
• Experience in diagnostic and interventional cath lab settings using fluoroscopy
• Knowledge of isolation precautions, equipment handling, and supply management
• Serves adult patients across 6 procedure rooms with a daily census of 15–20
• Common diagnoses include coronary artery disease, valve disorders, heart failure, and atrial septal defect/patent foramen ovale closures
• Advanced procedures include TAVR, left atrial appendage closures, Cardiomems, thrombectomy, mitral clips, renal denervation, and research protocols
• Equipment includes IABP, Impella, Penumbra, Rotapro, CSI, Shockwave, laser, OCT, and IVUS
• Interdisciplinary support available including respiratory services, pharmacy, rapid response teams, interpretation services, and unit secretary
