Job Details:

• Monday through Friday shift from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM
• Call requirement of 1 day per week and every 4th or 5th weekend from Saturday 7:00 AM to Sunday 7:00 AM and Sunday 7:00 AM to Monday 7:00 AM
• Float required averaging 1 week night per shift and 1 weekend per month
• Minimum 3 years of experience required
• First time travelers accepted
• Must have extensive knowledge of liver and kidney doppler due to liver and kidney transplant patient population
• High volume of venous doppler studies including arms and legs, liver biopsies, and neck/thyroid FNA procedures
• Liver/kidney transplant biopsies performed regularly
• No vascular arterial extremity dopplers performed at this facility
• Equipment used: Philips and Siemens
• Charting system: Cerner (preferred)
• Patient age groups: Adults and Geriatrics
• Daily census of 40 patients across 5 rooms
• Required certifications: BLS, RDMS-AB, ARDMS OB/GYN, RDCS - RVT
• Required skills include: 1st, 2nd, and 3rd trimester imaging, abdominal aorta, appendix, bladder, breast, carotid, doppler studies, fetal anatomical survey, gallbladder, liver, lower and upper extremity venous, ovaries, PACS, pancreas, paracentesis, pediatric abdomen/pelvis, peripheral vascular resistance, portables, prostate, renal artery duplex, renal/bladder, spleen, superficial masses, testicles/scrotum, thoracentesis, thyroid, ultrasound guided biopsy/fine needle aspiration, uterus, and vaginal imaging
