CVOR RN Job in Harrisburg, PA

You'll work as an RN in the Cardiovascular Operating Room at UPMC Harrisburg, providing specialized nursing care during open heart and other advanced cardiovascular surgical procedures. Your role involves supporting surgeons and the surgical team while delivering direct patient care to individuals undergoing complex cardiac interventions.

Role Responsibilities

• Deliver perioperative nursing care in the CVOR setting
• Support cardiovascular surgical procedures requiring advanced clinical knowledge
• Assist with patient positioning, equipment setup, and intraoperative monitoring
• Maintain sterile technique and ensure patient safety throughout procedures
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia, and surgical technologists
• Participate in 24/7 call coverage as needed to support patient care operations

Schedule and Assignment Details

• 4 ten-hour day shifts per week
• 90-day travel assignment
• Start date: May 11, 2026
• Minimum of 7 days of call per month required
• Flexible scheduling options available: 5 eight-hour shifts or 4 ten-hour shifts

Compensation

• Weekly pay: $2,880
