X-Ray Technician

Technologist - X-Ray

Job Details:

• Minimum of 24 months of current X-Ray experience required
• Hospital or medical center experience prioritized
• Proficiency in Siemens general radiography equipment required
• Experience using Carestream portable units required
• Recent or current experience using GE OEC C-arms highly preferred
• Recent or current Medtronic O-arm experience highly preferred
• Surgery fluoroscopy experience required
• Current or recent operating room experience required to support occasional OR cases
• Support all areas of radiology including plain film imaging, operating room exams, and portable exams
• Experience with all age groups highly preferred (shift dependent)
• Level I trauma experience preferred; Level II trauma experience required
• Pediatric experience preferred
• EPIC EMR experience required
• Will float across campuses
• No on-call responsibilities
• No weekend requirements
• Scrub color: Charcoal gray tops and bottoms, solids only
• Required certifications: ARRT, BLS (AHA)
• Active Iowa radiology license required (licensing candidates with attestation to apply at time of acceptance will be considered)
• Skills checklist specific to Radiology Technologist/X-Ray required
• Professional reference from a charge nurse, supervisor, nurse manager, director, CNO, or COO within the past 24 months preferred
