Med Surg RN Job in Albany, GA

You'll work as a Registered Nurse on the Medical-Surgical unit at Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital in Albany, GA. This is a 119-day travel assignment with 3x12 night shifts, starting April 27, 2026. Your weekly pay is $2,102.40.

Schedule and Expectations

• Work 12-hour shifts beginning at 6:45 AM on Thursday-Saturday or Friday-Sunday rotations
• Every other weekend requirement
• On-call responsibilities during low census periods
• Rotate holidays with permanent staff
• Typical nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:6
• Float to Ortho/Neuro, Oncology, Acute Care, and JFW units as needed
• Must be flexible with changing assignments during shifts

Orientation and Systems

• Floor-specific orientation provided
• MEDITECH charting system used

Qualifications Required

• Current RN license
• BLS certification
• NIHSS certification
• Either 2 years of experience with at least 1 travel assignment, or 4 years of experience without travel
• BSN not required

Facility Requirements

• Caribbean blue scrubs required
• Strict 75-mile radius rule applies
• 12-hour cancellation policy every 2 weeks
