Job Details:

• No on-call responsibilities
• Every other weekend schedule required
• 2+ years of Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) experience required
• Previous travel work experience preferred
• Candidates must reside outside of a 50-mile radius of the facility
• Independently or in consultation with a physician, administer medications and perform therapeutic modalities and diagnostic testing for the cardio-pulmonary system
• Perform respiratory care to evaluate and treat protocol evaluations
• Deliver medications via aerosol and metered dose inhalers
• Respond to all Rapid Responses, arrests, or STAT situations immediately
• Maintain artificial airways, respiration, and cardiac compressions
• Set up and maintain all oxygen according to protocol
• Provide CPR and life support systems in emergency situations
• Required certifications: NRP, BLS (AHA), NBRC, ACLS (AHA), PALS (AHA)
• Active RRT Certification through the National Board of Respiratory Care (NBRC) required
• Active Michigan license required with LARA verification showing Active status
• Skills checklist current within one year pertinent to Respiratory Therapy required
• 2 supervisory reference forms completed within the last two years required
