Respiratory Therapist Job in Midland, MI

ADEX Healthcare Staffing is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) for a temporary assignment at MyMichigan Health - Midland. This is a 91-day contract beginning July 20, 2026.

Position Details

• Shift: 3x12 nights with every other weekend schedule required
• No on-call responsibilities
• Weekly pay: $1,995.84

Responsibilities

• Administer medications and perform therapeutic modalities and diagnostic testing for the cardio-pulmonary system, independently or in consultation with a physician
• Evaluate and treat protocol evaluations and perform respiratory care
• Deliver medications via aerosol and metered dose inhalers
• Respond immediately to all Rapid Responses, arrests, or STAT situations
• Maintain artificial airways, respiration, and cardiac compressions
• Set up and maintain all oxygen according to protocol
• Provide CPR and life support systems in emergency situations

Required Qualifications

• 2+ years of Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) experience
• Active RRT Certification through the National Board of Respiratory Care (NBRC)
• Active Michigan license with LARA verification showing Active status
• Current certifications: NRP, BLS (AHA), NBRC, ACLS (AHA), PALS (AHA)
• Skills checklist current within one year pertinent to Respiratory Therapy
• Two supervisory reference forms completed within the last two years
• Reside outside of a 50-mile radius of the facility
• Previous travel work experience preferred
