<p><strong>Allied Position Job Notes:</strong></p> <p>Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available</p> <p><strong>Opportunity:</strong></p><p>CNA - CNA</p><p><strong>Job Details:</strong></p><p>• Support eye care services to patients of all ages as a certified medical assistant in optometry<br>• Room and screen patients for providers, perform optical and point of care lab testing<br>• Acquire ocular imaging including photos, ocular coherence tomography, visual fields, and topography<br>• Assist patients with optical orders including benefits verification, frame selection, measurements, order entry, payment collection, and dispensing<br>• Handle optical dispensing both in-person and by mail, including adjustments, repairs, and warranty replacements<br>• Assist with inventory management including ordering, cleaning, returns and frame placement<br>• Provide administrative support including triage, tracking and scheduling of referred, recalled or diabetic patients<br>• Handle phone calls, direct and answer patient questions, and manage paperwork<br>• Work with Referral Care Coordinators, providers and clinics to facilitate patient referrals<br>• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in medical records<br>• Order and maintain office and medical supplies<br>• Required certifications: BLS<br>• Flu vaccine required<br>• High School Diploma or GED required<br>• One year of medical assistant experience required<br>• Must live at least 50+ miles away from facility address<br>• Develop skills through on-the-job training and self-training modules<br>• Maintain patient confidentiality at all times</p><p><strong>Facility:</strong></p><p>This healthcare organization provides comprehensive eye care services with a focus on optometry and vision care.
