Description
<p><strong>RN Position Job Notes:</strong></p> <p>Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.</p> <p><strong>Opportunity:</strong></p><p>RN - Tele</p><p><strong>Job Details:</strong></p><p>• Work 12-hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM<br>• Full-time position with 2 openings available<br>• Every other weekend requirement<br>• No on-call responsibilities<br>• Floating if needed<br>• Nurse to patient ratio of 5:1 to 6:1 depending on staffing<br>• Must have 1-2 years of nursing experience and at least 6 months of telemetry experience<br>• Required certifications: BLS from AHA and ACLS from AHA<br>• RN License in state of employment or compact required<br>• Care for cardiac and telemetry patients (not a stepdown unit)<br>• Provide routine and complex nursing care utilizing the nursing process<br>• Administer medications and treatments while monitoring for side effects<br>• Document patient history, symptoms, medications, and care provided<br>• Assess learning needs and provide patient and family education<br>• Make appropriate assignments and delegate to other care providers<br>• All newly hired experienced RNs must attend New Nurses Orientation within first 30 days<br>• Complete annual competency verification requirements<br>• Temp to perm possibility available</p><p><strong>Facility:</strong></p><p>This healthcare facility is a comprehensive hospital system that provides cardiac and telemetry services with a focus on quality patient care and nursing excellence.
